Google Ads for a Local Service Business | ~$10 CPL

Overview:

I helped set up and optimize Google Ads for a local business with 3 stores in a large US city. The success of the campaign was going to be measured by 3 main conversion actions:
- Phone Calls
- TY Page Visits (form submissions)
- Store Visits

Other ancillary metrics like direction clicks and high clickthrough rates are always nice to see as well, but were not the primary focus.

Results:

Over 3 months and $32,615.28 in ad spend we generated:
- 2826 phone calls
- 415 TY Page Visits
- 762 store visits

Measuring by leads only, that gives us a $10 cost per lead which is a phenomenal return on that ad spend. $10 was our gold standard goal in that industry so getting to hit it with high spend like that is great to see.

Measuring by store visits - the average ticket generated between $100 and $150 in profit, so even erring on the side of caution means that the $32,615 in ad spend turned into $76,200 in profit.

This account has been a great success.
