Overview
A local repair shop that I had also done paid search ads for wanted to push into Meta Ads to see if they could generate leads there. Relying on search volume was fine, but he wanted to push more into the sales space and needed to see what we could do in Meta.
Our goal was to drive leads at a $5-6 CPL - we weren’t sure if we could hit that, but we knew that these leads would probably not be as qualified as paid search leads so we needed to drive a very strong CPL.
We used a combination of messenger ads, phone calls, and even a general landing-page view conversion action to see what we could do.
Results
Across a 30 day period, we were able to generate:
$1,640.81 in ad spend
436 leads across contact form submissions and phone calls generated
$3.76 CPL
Many of these leads were for selling devices, others were for buying devices off of customers (trade-in value etc.) so a true ROI is difficult to generate, however driving leads of almost any kind at this CPL is very encouraging.
